The soul or spirit of a deceased person or animal that can manifest itself to the living is known as a ghost. Ghosts are often described as an ethereal presence, translucent or barely perceptible wispy outlines, or vivid, lifelike forms in folklore. Necromancy, or a séance in spiritism, is the intentional pursuit of a deceased person's spirit. The words apparition, haunt, phantom, poltergeist, shade, specter or spectre, ghost, spook, wraith, demon, and ghoul are also used to describe it.
Since science asserts that the supernatural doesn't exist, ghosts and souls only live in stories of haunted houses and cemeteries. As demonstrated in a popular Chinese film that left us perplexed, other cultures contend that the dead might actually be among us.
In 2014, around 4 a.m., just before dawn, a hospital in China captured a startling and maybe spooky video, but science was unable to explain why. Internet users around the world are perplexed as to whether the image, which was first posted on the Chinese social networking site Taobao, was a ghost or something else.
